The 12th Joint Conference of the SDC & SLAIHEE was held at the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka on 17th June 2016. It was organized jointly by the Staff Development Centre (SDC) of Wayamba University and SLAIHEE.
The conference theme was ‘Quality Assurance in Higher Education for Effective Learning.’ The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Enoka Corea, President of SLAIHEE. The Keynote address was delivered by Prof. Narada Warnasuriya, former Vice-Chancellor, University of Sri Jayawardenapura. Prof. S.J.B.A. Jayasekara, Vice-Chancellor, Wayamba University graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The Conference received 16 abstracts and following review, 10 were presented in two parallel sessions.
